Law n. 580/93 granted Italian Chambers of Commerce the faculty to establish structures defined as Special Agencies, in order to undertake activities and programmes which require smooth operations, rapid management and specific technical competence with regard to services to be offered to local companies.
In 1995, the Chamber of Commerce (and Industry, Agriculture and Craftmanship) of Brescia established Pro Brixia, a Special Agency operating under private law with administrative and financial autonomy. Pro Brixia seeks to give value to Brescian productions and its primary objective is to support local companies in efforts to extend their commercial range to international markets.
Moreover, Pro Brixia manages and administers the Real Estate Exchange in Brescia and the Chamber of Commerce’s Conference Centre.
